Patricia Dalpiaz

National Advisory Council

Patricia Dalpiaz is a member of the American Association of University Women (AAUW) – St. George Chapter. She has served this organization as the Co-Chair, Chair, fund raiser and board member at large. Since 2014 she has also been the coordinator of the DSU Women’s Resource Center. The St. George Chapter of the AAUW advances equity for women and girls in Southern Utah through philanthropy, advocacy and education. One of the missions of AAUW is “to support St. George area women with scholarships to help cover the costs of higher education and with mentors to assist in navigating their educational journey.”

Pat has a business background in healthcare supply chain and support systems. From 2001-2013 she was President and co-owner of CarePoint Group Purchasing a Utah based company, which provides products, equipment and service contracts to the healthcare industry. She negotiated for independently owned surgicenters and clinics in Utah and Nevada.

In the 90s she worked for Intermountain Healthcare Corporate Group Purchasing in Salt Lake City, as the medical-surgical contract negotiator for an area that encompassed 23 states, which included 2000 hospital members.

She has served on many hospital and healthcare boards, such as, National President of the American Hospital Association of Materials Management Professionals, national board member for the Health Industry Barcode Association-Marketing and board member for the Voluntary Hospitals of America (VHA).

Pat holds a Bachelor of Science and MBA from Westminster College. Her interests include: grandkids, golf, horseback riding, Lutheran Church, Stray Angels Animal Rescue, boating and fishing.
